CCPBioSim Training - Enlighten: Tools for enzyme-ligand modelling

Please note that places on this training course are limited to 35 so please apply early.  This initial application will register your interest only.  The application period will close on 23 May and successful delegates will be notified as soon as possible following this date. You should not assume that you are registered for the training course until you receive confirmation that you have been selected from the organising committee.

Provisional Programme

10.30 - 16.00   Tools for enzyme-ligand modelling (for experimentalists/protein crystallographers) Instructors: Dr Marc van der Kamp & Dr Kara Ranaghan   

16.30 - 17.30   Research talk: Dr Marc van der Kamp "In silico enzyme activity screening: applications in antibiotic resistance and evaluation of biocatalysts"

All tutorial workshops take place in computer room 2.11 in the Merchant Venturers Building, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Research talks will be in Lecture Theatre 3, School of Chemistry. You can find University maps here.

Limited bursaries (up to a maximum of £250) are available to support UK travel and possibly accommodation costs for those who cannot fund their travel (and accommodation) otherwise. Please provide an estimate of your travel (and accommodation) costs when you register. Do not book until we have confirmed by email that you are selected for participation to the workshop(s) and that we will cover your costs through a bursary. Decisions will be made based on the need, total costs requested, and suitability for the workshop(s) in question. We will notify you of the decision soon after the registration deadline (May 23rd).
