You are cordially invited to the launch of the Medical Teaching and Research Laboratory at Daresbury Laboratory on Monday 2 February 2015.

The event will address a wide range of topics, specifically focusing on the facility's science and technology expertise and future opportunities and will include tours of the facility and the opportunity to network.

Arrival from 10:30 am for an 11:00 am start.  Planned refreshments from 12:00 pm with a nework opportunity.

The Medical Teaching and Research Laboratory (MTRL) is a unique facility in the UK.  It houses a medical imaging scanner which is dedicated to teaching and research.

MTRL is a partnership between The Liverpool University's Physics Department, the Royal Liverpool University Hospital and STFC.  It was born out of the need to provide hands-on training for students from the NHS Scientist Training Programme MSc course in Clinical Science (Medical Physics) taught by The University of Liverpool.
